This feature is based on the same principle as the newsfeeds used on social networking platforms and provides an overview of the latest activities that are relevant to you, such as a shared document or blog, newly published content in the platform’s services, new message alerts, and updated photos, mottoes, or moods.
With one glance, you can see all the key information you need (the user’s first name, last name, and photo as well as the date and description of the action) and click on links that will take you straight to the relevant content.
You can choose which notifications appear in your newsfeed.
(1): First, click on “Filter by” to display filters for each application.
(2): By default, the “All” button will be activated, which means the Newsfeed will display notifications from all applications. To hide certain notifications, click on the corresponding label in the list. The label will turn gray, meaning the notifications for that application will no longer be included in your Newsfeed.
You can delete a notification from your own Newsfeed. To do so, click on the action arrow to the right of the notification you would like to delete.
A window will open allowing you to delete the notification from your Newsfeed.

Taking your pupils on a school trip? How would you like to post photos and a travel diary online in real time? Establishing an organic vegetable garden at school? Wondering how to communicate about the project? Set up a blog!
This tool makes it easy to post information and include different types of content: text, images, audio, video, external links, etc.
It is your choice how posts are published on your blog; you can moderate posts submitted by your pupils before publishing them, and work together to keep the blog up to date.
Teachers can manage the settings for their class independently through the “Class settings” app. You can create new pupil and parent accounts, export usernames and activation codes, reset passwords for users within the class, enable new services for the class, change the name of the class, etc.
The directory lets you look up ONE contacts, just like in the phone book. Searches include all contacts registered in the VLE to whom the user has access permissions.
To search, simply type the first few letters of the first or last name.
Thanks to the colour code, the different user profiles are immediately obvious: teachers in green, pupils in orange, parents in blue, etc. By clicking on a user, you can access their personal information (photos, parent or guardian’s contact details, mood, motto, interests, etc.) and interact with them in a few clicks (send them a message, for example).
With ONE’s filespace you can store and share your documents online. This way you have easy access to the files you need, anytime: between classes at school, during your lunch break in the staff room or while helping your children study at home.
The filespace also shows you how much storage space you have left on ONE. The gauge display lets you keep an eye on the space available.
Would you like to plan and organise your pupils’ tasks by day of the week? Try the homework notebook!
This tool makes posting homework easy. In the ONE homework notebook, pupils can see the tasks they have been set day by day and also see a summary for the week (week view).
The homework notebook can be shared with one user or a group of users, as the teacher prefers.
The ONE mailbox lets you send emails to the other users from your school according to predefined communication rules.
When you write a message, recipients can be added individually or by group: year 5 pupils, school staff, Mr. Smith, etc.
When you receive a new message, you are notified right away on the “What’s new” page.
Getting information out to all teachers at once or making an appointment with a parent couldn’t be simpler!
Would you like to create a class journal, a science exercise book, an art notebook or a logbook? Think multimedia notebook!
This application lets you create online notebooks with multimedia content (audio, images, text, video, etc.). As with the other ONE apps, notebooks can be shared with other users in the class or school.
Notebooks can be used to summarise and present class work, to communicate with parents or to get pupils producing content.
Would you like to find out how much your class or school is using ONE? The Statistics app (by default, only accessible to teachers) lets you track a set of indicators such as the number of visitors since 1 September or the distribution of visits over the day.
The Statistics app provides seven indicators calculated for a given period (either for the past month or since 1 September).
Please note: this app is not available in the Class version.
